Freighter Travel

Welcome on board!

Why not embark on an intimate trip on a cargo vessel instead of a glamorous and glittering cruise ship with thousands of other passengers, impatiently pressing in the line for the buffet?Onboard a Rickmers cargo vessel, there is no such thing as a dress code. Unless you sing yourself , there is no entertainment programme. And no need to dress up! The fascinating rhythm of a working cargo ship is the programme. Just stay relaxed and live with the daily routines of the ship at sea or in port. Depending on the vessels' schedules you can visit fascinating and beautiful cities such as the city of diamonds, Antwerp, Asias thriving and pulsating metropoles, or the home of Mardi Gras, New Orleans. These are just a few examples of the destinations our vessels are calling at. Find out more about our routes and ships.
